Amnesty International: Human Rights Don't Discriminate
The headline of Amnesty International's Gay Rights page states "Amnesty International believes that all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, should be able to enjoy the full range of human rights, without exception."
However, people around the world are abused for their sexual orientation every day. Amnesty international believes that by highlighting and focusing on said abuse, people can take action to address this violence and discrimination towards members of the LGBT community. Amnesty's activists are working to protect the basic human right to dignity in the LGBT community.
The site has resources for how to get involved, LGBT news updates, rights issues, and the progress of bills and legislation regarding gay rights.
